IANG Visa for Hong Kong Graduates
The Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG) Visa is a standard option for non-local students who have completed their full-time undergraduate/graduate/doctoral studies in Hong Kong. After graduation, they can apply for the IANG Visa to stay in Hong Kong. The visa can be renewed in a 1+2+2+3 pattern, meaning that as long as the combined duration of study and IANG visas adds up to 7 years, the individual becomes eligible for permanent residency in Hong Kong.
IANG Visa: Application Requirements
To be eligible for the IANG Visa, applicants must meet both of the following conditions:
1. Hold a full-time undergraduate or higher degree from a recognized institution in Hong Kong (e.g., Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree)
2. Be a non-local graduate of Hong Kong
Non-local graduates are classified into the following three categories:
(1) Fresh Non-local Graduates: Within 6 months from the date of graduation, no job offer is required
(2) Return Non-local Graduates: After 6 months from the date of graduation, a job offer is required
(3) Renewal of IANG Visa: For those who have previously obtained the IANG Visa and are seeking to renew it, a job offer is required
