Hong Kong Quality Migrant Admission Scheme (QMAS)
The Hong Kong Quality Migrant Admission Scheme, commonly known as "QMAS," offers two application pathways: General Points Test and Achievement-based Points Test. Under the General Points Test, applicants initially receive a two-year visa, which can be renewed for a total of eight years in a 2+3+3 format (top-tier talents can renew for 2+6 years). Under the Achievement-based Points Test, applicants can obtain an eight-year visa in a single application. Both pathways allow for eligibility to apply for permanent residency after seven years.
