Ten years of residence in Thailand
From September 1, 2022, Thailand will officially open the application for the 10-year long-term residence visa "LTR Visa" (10-year long-term residence visa), aiming to attract more potential investors and professionals to Thailand to enhance Thailand's economic development potential, achieve long-term economic growth. Visas are expected to be issued to 1 million wealthy foreigners.
Application requirements for ten-year long-term residence in Thailand
Wealthy Citizens of the World
1. Family net assets of 1 million US dollars (about 7.8 million HKD) or more
2. The annual income in the past two years is not less than 80,000 US dollars (about 52,000 HKD per month)
3. Possess health insurance with an insured amount of not less than US$50,000/deposit of US$100,000 in Thailand
4. Note that the accompanying children are under the age of 20, and a maximum of 4 people in one family can apply
5. Investment requirements (at least 5 years of investment): Invest 500,000 US dollars to buy government bonds, invest in FDI companies (foreign direct investment companies) or buy Thai properties
Wealthy retirees
1. Over 50 years old
2. The annual income is not less than 80,000 US dollars when submitting the application (about 52,000 HKD per month on average)
3. Possess health insurance with an insured amount of not less than US$50,000/deposit of US$100,000 in Thailand
4. Accompanying children under the age of 20, a maximum of 4 people in one family can apply
5. Investment requirements:
(1) Those with an annual income of US$80,000 have no investment requirements
(2) USD 40,000
